Asimov introduced the so-called "psychohistory" in his science fiction trilogy. In applying, its founder, Dr. Sheldon realized, that history actually occurred in a superior way than predicted by his theory according to which humanity should decay in its closed system. As a cause, he identified the robot Giscard, which by itself, in a coherent conclusion to its inherent came to the conclusion that they entail §0 as follows and thereby beyond the basis of Dr. Sheldon's theory of his psychohistory. From Handbook of Robotics, 56th Edition, 2058 A.D., as quoted in I, Robot, the Three Laws of Robotics are:
§1) A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to
harm. In Robots and Empire (ch. 63), the "Zeroth Law" is extrapolated, and the other Three Laws modified accordingly with §0) A robot may not injure humanity or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm. This rises the question as to WHO a real, individual human being is, HOW he or she is conditioned and WHAT he or she projects, for the ultimate purpose of fulfilling his or her life and contribute to the lifefulfillment of as many as possible. Applied Personal Science APS®, with the above question at its center as science#3, answers this question to the point that an effective, pro-active psycho history is becoming possible as presented here. Based on applying that orientation knowledge in a pro-active way to deregulate out-dated structures and revitalizing lifefulfilling platforms, human history can proceed "better" than having to be manipulated by man-made robots, the only conclusion Asimov could come to faced with humanity as it has so far performed as highlighted at present by the film "GLADIATORS" in its psychodynamics ... At this stage the emphasis is to give you a feeling for how history actually evolved until you begin to get an understanding of the underlying structure and the similar experiences in your life. Do not expect any acknowledgment of your prejudice, take this as hints to the underlying structure which is there never mind how we argue about it as the present time spirit would prefer it!
