"Ethical differences
across cultures are real. To communicate the impact of this on business as well as on
other areas, it is important to classify the worlds moral systems." said
Prof. Guptara. Before going into ethical discussions in terms of probing which of all the existing opinions about them prevails these days in order to ride the trend, as most of the American members of parliament do in these days in view of how to respond to the Clinton case, one should ask the question as to what constitutes civilization and then, how should that be deregulated and revitalized ethically. The former I call "the emperors new clothes" approach, the latter is scientific and respects the fact that we are Creatures of God, the Creator in HIS Creation. In my understanding up to now in each era in human history, or in any other human system, one among sixteen dimension comes to a climax and the the system degenerates in it, unless it is deregulated and revitalized with Timely Exchange of Project-Orientated Competence, TEPOC. The prevailing dimension at this present time is Ce, the e=established C=communication; the Clinton case as it erupted in 1998 is certainly such a climax! As long as a person is not prepared to learn from his or her created self, what matters is not what one says, but only what is understood by the others and its evolutionary return on investment in terms of influence gained on Ce. Now, each such dimension has nine aspects in terms of N=now/present, F=in future to be expected and P=past reality reflected in the corresponding three man-made virtualities imagining the present, future and the past. In my understanding what Prof. Guptara describes very well are the established aspects 1-9 Ce reproduced in italics the following : |
However, I consider this approach a
distortion of what I think ethics is meant to be, a systems of thought and action aimed
at putting human activities, especially business, in the service of the life-fulfillment
of as many as possible. In my view therefore, business is not the ultimate process in
the "light" of which everything has to be reflected! Not business has to go
global and mega at all cost, but through its service, genuine human life. In the first
case humanity will end up as the cancer of the living space Earth, in the latter as
its Global Brain using Peter Russel's analogy. Actually at the time this revision is done, according to the Herarld Tribune (September 12-13, 1998) Mr. Clinton has become a test case of whether this generation of Americans wants to sit in (cancerous) judgment on each other or be willing to live and let live (within a properly globalized civilization). Before Ce became the guiding dimension, Om, the multiplication of objects and its management drove the trends. The the lead-dimension was mathematics, now it is marketing and mass-psychology whatever that is...Before local intelligence (PC) was in, now, at the age of the netscomputer its outsourcing into Ce is meag-in, are you Ce-online??? |

German: Fragen im Zusammenhang mit Ke (Ce) Umgang mit entsprechenden Einsichten - aha to the basics about Ce, culture, ethics... Innovative open-heartedness in naming things and people allows an assertive pursuit in overcoming blind aggression and a healing transformation of the remaining fearful other-determinedness, in view of righteousness that allows proper law and order. These two sides, pursuit/order, need to be acknowledged in order to turn encounters into creative meetings which one can deal with suppressive consulting. However, that requires the necessary awareness of the corrupted power still involved; there is no alternative to self-expression when it comes life-fulfillment! |
Ethics has a much more important function than to shape cultures; it has to provide guidance to communication ranging from naming, to overcoming aggression, fear and self-rigtheousness in order to allow ordered tolerance in meetings, set priorities without losing the alertness for what matters in terms of allowing as many people as possible to fulfill their lives here... |
