12a)  Switzerland's Death Bed

In the example of Switzerland with its 6Bw-OEGP with

the 16 essential mental ports MvXt SpJ!a cfbR hIy (to be explained as we go), e.g.

bullet

with §3-X §0-t (associated with G-guilt over the dealing of its §3-own financial institutions in WW II) Switzerland was the first to t=think about becoming §0-globally transparent, pay compensation and adapt procedures to handle with unclaimed and dirty money.

bullet

G2-p (A-angry about the G2-way the EU tries to break through its north-south axis on the road and take control) Switzerland once more begins to p=perceive what is at stake when it becomes

bullet

G4-! impotent to deal with the G4-truth and instead gives in to the spirit of the time, from which its founding fathers detached decisively and later on declared neutrality, having learnt their bloody lesson in the failed battle at Marigniano (1515).

bullet

H2-f (T-tense about keeping law and order in view of having one of the highest foreign population in Europe) give rise to a better f=feeling about the H2-order of the world we live. That is why it makes sense for me to do my basic work in Switzerland!

Thus Switzerland's  emotional intelligence makes it what it is now, but not yet what it could and should be in fulfilling all of its 16 essential mental ports. If it keeps !-dropping dead, then, emotionally speaking, the H2-f-tension about the temptations of the spirit of the time is on the other side of the gateway through its !-impotence. If that does not work smoothly, then it is pulled back to G2-p-anger, §0-t-guilt and §3-X ground state - back to its devaluated roots, commercialized in the banks, the highways, the airports, the expo 2002...and can thus be easily instrumentalized for global business.

The fundamentalist faction, now represented by the strongest, the Swiss People's Party, however resists the political, not the economic globalization appealing to §1-M > §2-v, e.g. the M=maximal Swiss §1=way to relate to its existence and the v=value Swiss pay to its social implication in terms of federalism, armed neutrality and bank secrecy. Both M and v give rise to conscious awareness and ask for decisions in the corresponding plebiscites which so far were against the UNO, the EU and NATO and their military involvements.

With its  B3<J>B4<!>B5<a>H1(c) gateway at 42.2%, Switzerland challenges those concerned (Swiss, such as the author) to a B3=path beyond the !=outdated formally established B4=truth in a way that J=does justice to those concerned beyond their B5=lives. in one of the wealthiest, but by far not the happiest country the challenge is towards an a=intuitively sustained H1=hope expressed with an appropriate c=character as the collective identity:

bulletAfter the Helvetians lost their B4=truth about their direction in their cold valleys, they wanted to go down south and were defeated and humiliated by the Romans in Bibrakte (58 BC).
bulletSimilarly in the Middle Ages the independent Swiss ravaged Europe as desperately fierce warriors and mercenaries, for they could not find any liberating truth for survival at home.
bulletHowever, when they were defeated and devastated at Marigniano (1515), the Swiss learned their lesson about the G4-truth that leads to G5-life and remained neutral which saved Switzerland from most of the bloody wars, starting with the devastation religious Thirty Year war 1618-48 and the big power struggles in WW I and WW II.

At present the temptation is to give up what has so far given rise to hope, independence and neutrality, for what sounds good (post-modernism), is impressive (the European Community) and promises power (global money) but entails no sustainable hope whatsoever...

In contrast to the Australian National Party, the Swiss fundamentalist People's Party has gained momentum under Christoph Blocher with his anti-European Union, anti giving-up neutrality to affiliate with NATO and against UNO-membership campaigns and has become the strongest party harvesting the remaining hopes with a purely negative politics, leading to the cannibalization of the §2-v Swiss values, inhibiting the country from taking an active role in Europe, addressing the fear of a G3-path that leads to the G4-! challenging truth redesigning Swiss life with the "Swiss feeling" on the Swiss Life's insurance adds...
