Normally I shall personally not just acknowledge but TEPOC
your input within three days. Proceed as if in a brain storming session, give in to the flow and adhere to the principle of the postponed short-term judgement. The aim of initializing TEPOC in this way is to establish a network of people who are dedicated to develop, implement in themselves, disseminate and establish a mental operating system, MOS, compatible with the life-fulfillment of as many as possible beyond chatting, discussing and democratic compromises. It is a matter of transcending the Platonist based MOS shaped by Freud, an aggressive atheist. The climate of opinions that stemmed from him for the 20th century was based on neurotic behaviors and sexual maladjustments. Freud started with a sweeping wordy theory of mental functioning and malfunctioning. He then set out the rules for psychoanalysis and expanded its implications beyond the couch to the whole mentality of the 20st century. That begot defectors who stressed aggression (Adler), collective archetypes (Jung), behaviorism, suppressing all references to internal states (Skinner) that lead to large-scale empirical and statistical studies such as Kinsley about sexual behavior and retreating in bestseller niches harvested with common sense principles such as Dr. Spock's about child rearing. In short, a mental jungle that is now misused to "prove" postmodernism, an attitude that defies all other proves, ignoring that one and one is still two and that closed systems, even when globalized are still self-destructive. Worse, the last fact is used as the ultimate disguise of failure that starts with mixing theories with infotainment, drug "therapy" and lately, neuronal and genetical manipulation. All of that retains some fascination and plausibility in fragmented minds of what Feud called "human animals with their insatiable needs" what in fact are God's Creatures. That self-fulfilling projections has so far provided intellectuals with their reputation and budgets but has rather diminished life-fulfillment in the now ending century in the name of a thus organized Ce-based society. Freud was successful because he provided the justification for it; tamp down sexual and aggressive desires on a pre-level and fragmenting meaningful thinking on the trans-level of the pre-trans-trap. So we are left with the shambles of Ce-compromises between unclearly formulated wishes and repressions ranging from mobbing to precision bombing on Good Friday 1999; may-be the last warning that MOS is outdated, which still allows TEPOC.... |
