3. Beyond Desperation

As the bombing proceeds, more and more people concerned will fall into desperation as the side-effects can no longer be managed and dominate the media coverage. We know this from Vietnam. Once again millions of people are driven into desperation's before those whose snapping minds originally caused it all get concerned. Let us face it, World War II was ended with Hitler's suicide, his last trick to avoid responsibility. Thus the initial goal, for which about 50 million people lost their lives, coming clear with that kind of mind, was not achieved. In the meantime humanity had re-runs with Stalin, PolPot, Saddam Hussein etc. and now in the area where WW I was started, with Slobodan Milosevic. These guys know how to embellish their suicide with that of masses of people - it dies easier in the mass. Have you seen the body language of the Russian Prime Minister in his social gathering with Milosevic, the fist fighting in the Russian parliament and the getting ready of Russian war ships to sail to the scene of action? At the end of this century we are once more confronted with the despairing state of human mental affairs whenever they take power in their own hands without referring to the underlying causes, caught in the illusions of the prevailing mental operating system, than the mind can reengineer the set up of Creation! None of all the intellectuals who are conferencing like maggots in the bacon speak up for a change, neither do representatives of churches come up with a viable alternative.

The intellectual standpoint boils down to that of Robert Thomas who positions himself as a bestseller with his book "Serbia under Milosevic" by saying: No reasonable person could have foreseen what is unfolding now as a humanitarian disaster. For a scientific mind that is saying that we urgently need to redefine reason. e.g. the prevailing mental operating system and that is what Applied Personal Science APS® ® is all about. On the other hand intellectuals of that sort just propagated their spiritual impotence in the form of nice sounding, politically correct cliche that appeal to their mutual admiration society and that is all they are good at in the final analysis.  As soon as crisis come into their desperate stage, "professional" conflict resolution managers based on the intellectual "in" trend step up in order to get publicity for their approach. Stuart D. G. Robinsion, Director of the 5C Institute for Cross-Cultural Communication & Conflict Conciliation AG in Zug (Switzerland) using what he call faults in the Holbrooke missions thus subtly induces he could have done better with nothingness, defining reconciliation on a bases contrary to the universalism which he associates with Anglo-American culture, while in fact it stems from Christianity and was the basis for scientific enlightenment and above all it refers to the innate laws of nature and life. Instead Robinson focuses on the different past of ethnicities and the resulting differences in their collective understanding of say war, "peace", "democracy", "sovereignty", "human rights", "survival" of self, others, ideologies and the collective etc. Undoubtedly these different ways to establish communication plays a role and are worth knowing about. However, if the transient, situational and subjective opinionating that goes with it is used as a basis for science and in its consequence, even worse of decision making, then it is black art; the attempt to gain a position based on nothing than coaching mobbing, described as unity of procedure, never mind what its outcome is, even if it is war or for that matter a crucifixion. In case it turns out to be a war, Robertson cynically points out the potential advantage, it could make bystanders think - hopefully about the short-term gains of black art, "anything goes", multiculturalism etc. But why think about such things at all if nothing matters - just to maintain your position in the Social Darwinian game of meaningless rhetorical survival - the ultimately dispiriting perspective thus idealized like the "Emperor's New Cloths"!

Among all the "in" talkers, it has only been President Clinton who over the past months, despite his self-inflicted Impeachment ordeal, did specifically speak up to end to the policy of personal destruction promoted by the simplifying, generalizing approach of the mainstream intellectuals whose last defense, similar to Hitler, is to speed up the self-destruction of the closed system they depend on as a mental operating system. As we have seen, Slobodan Milosevic with a   Law degree and in Bosnia Karatzic, a former psychiatrist; no longer mere painters and privates, but typical exponents of intellectually socializing one-track minds, are now spearheading the dramatization of the rest-risks of the mental operating system. That system has remained basically unchanged after its release by Plato some 2400 years ago. And this despite the mounting proofs of its utter failure and despite men creating more adequate systems when it came to death-technology such as leading a war, targeting a cruise missile, setting up the Internet, making the externally dominant "inhabitants" of Earth stinking four wheel iron cages that move on tar and concrete etc. All the humanism has come up with were Freudian slips and Jungian archetypes. The former was adding to the basis of communism and the latter to that of Racism and Fascism, bot of which are now embellished by post-modernism.
