The American response#1 to the so far ultimate act of terror against its symbol of economic and global power has swiftly been to swiftly declare the New War; response#1 deals with opponents who have a non-negotiable approach, which is perceived as being against one's own substance; it is at best a shock treatment which brings those involved to their senses, and at worst the beginning of a war and worse. The challenge is that there is often no alternative and simply suppressing the impulse requires a response#1 against the self. This means life is response-ability until its fulfillment in understanding towards whoever, for whatever reason!

The associated usage of content-free power enhanced by science and technology#1 is justified when you cannot and should not accept an interest that you perceive as a process towards the destruction of your substance, or on a personal level, against your freedom to fulfill your life. Its execution makes sense to restore your response-ability for a response that does not end in the same trap as that which has snapped, for say the terrorists who have demonstrated a position in total opposition to the bases of any civilization. However, its is equally obvious that our opponents starts in the first place, for this very same reason, just from his point of view by provoking a response#1. We have little problem associating an animal’s proactive response#1 as a response to being cornered, out of its own pressing need (for humans this can also be a response, in extremis, because of an arbitrary streak of sado-masochism or just an involuntary reflex), or reactively, in view of a perceived substantial threat.

In the flow of time response#1 results in focusing individuals using

SHADOW POWER

into a collective effort, such as a holy war, a revolt, organized crime or on the other side a "legitimate" strike, a "civilized" war, a necessary campaign, or simply a trend change. However, to overcome the underlying alienation

a mental OPENING

for a more appropriate response#2 is required.
